Hey mommy friends!! Let me tell you a little about myself…

My name is Meagan. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend, all of which I fail at daily. It’s true, I’m a real screw up but I keep getting up every morning, dusting myself off and trying it all over again, even every other day of the week when I especially don’t feel like it. You want to know why? I do it because I have a calling on my life. I am a daughter of Christ and I know He has a purpose for my journey on this earth. Do I know exactly what that is? Definitely not, but I’m trying this new thing called trust! I’m trusting in Him that His will is far superior and rewarding than my own. I say this because as much as I hate running (I despise it), I seem to run away from God so much that you would think I was Forest Gump. I’ve realized that my “I’M IN CONTROL” complex isn’t going to get me too far in this life.

My amazing husband surprised me with this laptop I am writing on 4 Christmases ago because I was feeling God tug at my heart to start a blog for Moms and he wants to be the support system that God has called him to be in my life. Well now y’all know how to pray for him, because years later his stubborn wife is just now gathering up the courage to do so. God called me to start this blog 4 years ago and while I am not making any promises on not screwing this up too, I chose today to stop running. Thank you Jesus for your mercy and patience with me.

This blog is not to tell you the right way to mother your children because I am not the one to help you with that. This blog is for all the women who are perfectly imperfect and ready to realize that and embrace it. You may be a mom already, a mom to be, or you have a burning desire in you to be a mother one day. The truth of the matter is that we are all women of Christ that need truth, love and encouragement on this journey, but to complete it we first have to begin it.
